Bu şiir, Kadıköy’deki İzmir Apartmanı’nın mozaik eserine ithaf edilmiştir. Burak Cem Coşkun’un girişimi ve Şehrin Panoları oluşumunun emeği sayesinde, eser Kadıköy Belediyesi tarafından koruma altına alınmış; dönüşüm projelerine direnerek günümüze ulaşmıştır.

Bugün mozaik, bina bahçesinde dikili olarak sergilenmektedir.

This poem is dedicated to the mosaic artwork of the İzmir Apartment, located on Aydın Street in Kadıköy.
Thanks to the initiative of Burak Cem Coşkun and the efforts behind ŞehrinPanoları (City Panels), the piece was placed under the protection of the Kadıköy Municipality, resisting urban redevelopment projects and surviving to the present day.

Today, the mosaic is displayed upright in the building’s courtyard.

UPDATE ON VOLUME III

Science and Poetry Volume I, followed by Magnetic Monopole Dreams in Blue Anatolian Nights Volume II, and now this third volume of the series presents a renewed and expanded edition. It is enriched with six additional poems and a newly written preface. While preserving the core thematic architecture of the earlier volumes, this edition deepens its lyrical intensity and allows the scientific and poetic registers to resonate with greater clarity and emotional depth.

In this volume, the poetic voice becomes more fluid and more intimate. At times, it approaches a dream state in which equations dissolve into images and physical laws echo as metaphors. Verses shaped around the ideal of Blue Anatolia seek to dissolve the rigid boundary between rational knowledge and artistic imagination. In its place, the work offers a unified aesthetic experience.

Ultimately, this volume stands as an original literary endeavor in which scientific methodology and philosophical depth converge on an aesthetic plane. It appears here in its most refined and expansive form.

The cover design of this book pays homage to Nusret Safa Coşkun, inspired by the hand-illustrated covers of his ten-issue fascicle journal "Son Meclis", which critically engaged with the political climate of 1950–1960. One of the poems in this volume is dedicated to him, offering readers a literary tribute alongside the new edition.

UPDATE ON VOLUME IV

Science and Poetry, Volume I, was followed by Magnetic Monopole Dreams in Blue Anatolian Nights, Volume II, and Electric Quadrupole Dreams, Volume III. This fourth volume presents a renewed and expanded edition, enriched with six additional poems and a newly written epilogue that deepens and clarifies the conceptual arc of the series.

Burak Cem Coşkun’s Pumpkin Dessert with Tahini in the Cloud Chamber (Without Walnuts and Neutrinoless) is not merely a collection of poems, but a cosmological atlas of thought, an integrated poetic system where science, philosophy, and intuition converge. Drawing from the clarity of Ionian natural philosophy and the imaginative force of poetry, the work approaches nature as a living field of truth rather than a passive object of study. From neutron stars to cosmic voids, from mathematical precision to lyrical expression, Coşkun constructs a unified “blue dream” in which knowledge is not only explained, but also felt.

Far beyond conventional poetic form, this work repositions poetry as a meta-language, one that carries and transforms scientific and philosophical inquiry into an aesthetic and metaphysical experience. Conceived as a “Postulate (ROSE),” it stands as a bold intellectual proposition: a poetic system On Nature, where the abstract and the natural, the rational and the transcendent, are inseparably intertwined.

In 2018, Linarejos Moreno, a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid, held a solo exhibition titled Cloud Chamber, in which she brought together the genius of abstraction with a nuclear physics experiment designed to reveal the decay of subatomic particles. The year 1911 marks both the birth of abstraction in art, through Wassily Kandinsky’s foundational work, and the invention of the cloud chamber by C.T.R. Wilson, which enabled the first visual observations of cosmic rays. Both figures were concerned with the traceability of points and lines on a plane, an investigation that directly inspired

Kandinsky’s second major theoretical work, Point and Line to Plane. This unexpected encounter, which subtly suggests that the foundation of reality may not align with the constructs of an abstracted universe distanced from nature, offers a glimpse into the dynamic interplay between mythos and logos.

The guiding axiom of our journey under the manifesto of Science and Poetry is the desire to envision new frontiers where the dervishes who wander at the boundaries of Nature and the scientists of our age converge within the cosmic pattern.

The irrational ratios of Nature

are a manifesto of the geometry of reality.

This manifesto is no less significant for the miraculous concord it establishes with poetic narration, the very instrument by which we convey feeling and thought.

"Burak Cem Coşkun, as a founding thinker of the “Science and Poetry” movement that blends the mathematical precision of modern theoretical physics with the ancient wisdom of Anatolia, builds an unshakable intellectual bridge between rational Logos and intuitive Mythos. Reading nature’s irrational ratios as the “geometry of truth,” the author brings scientific data from the nuclear structures in the depths of neutron stars to the holographic boundaries of de Sitter space together with the legacy of Ionian sages such as Thales and Anaxagoras, and offers an original vision of a “Blue Civilization.” His approach, which he conceptualizes as Postulate (ROSE – Randomly Organized Structural Wholes), represents a revolutionary stance that unites Kandinsky’s genius of abstraction and C. T. R. Wilson’s cloud chamber that made cosmic rays visible within the same cosmic pattern, redefining science by removing it from the coldness of laboratories and situating it once again within the shared imagination of dervishes and scientists. In this respect, Coşkun is not merely a physicist or a writer, but a pioneering architect of ideas who reconstructs the language of the universe through the lyrical power of Turkish and who, with the dream of an Ionian Institute of Physics on the western coasts of Anatolia, ferments the future already in the present."
