Can you tell us about the writing process of your story in the book?
- Meltem Dağcı

While I was continuing my passionate quest to investigate Nature and its laws in the field of Astrophysics, there were times during my stay abroad when I realized that there were serious problems and crises in physics and academia in general, independent of geography. Beyond the fundamental problems, interesting experiences, in which scientific processes destroyed the pleasure of understanding these problems in the first place, and which led me personally to some philosophical searches, led me to create a discourse out of the language I had been trying to master for years, namely mathematical expression.  I thought that one way to do this was to use storytelling to convey this journey, which was unsatisfying by all forms of science and belief. Rather than containing a message, stories were a set of configurations that could guide me in my own search. One of these stories, Troy 137, was a story that included social anthropological concerns with the theme of four different paths/stories in which the concepts of reality and dream were no different in the labyrinth of consciousness, questioning them and using some teachings in the search for the miraculous. In physics, 137 is a magic number. Those who are curious can look it up. This story had to be the spatiotemporal manifesto of a character who is known for this mysterious number at the heart of modern quantum electrodynamics, who has to destroy the candidates who are trying to reach the truth and get rid of blinders, and in the process of discovering her own self. After going through three tests: physical, emotional, and mental, she had to question reality and her "self" through the temporal anomaly that is the sum of them. After writing the story, I published it on my personal blog for two years, and different versions of it were returned by some selectors. I was very happy that more than one selection found the story worth reading and publishing in the last year when it was about to be buried in the dusty pages of history. Endless thanks to the YBKY family, one of these selections...
